Welcome to Whitehill Nest, our family run luxury pod is located less than 1.5 miles from Campbeltown overlooking the west coast of Kintyre with views to the North Coast of Ireland and beyond. Nestled in a quiet secluded location among the trees at Whitehill Farm, Whitehill Nest is surrounded by farmland and hills to escape to. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful retreat, our luxurious pod is the perfect relaxing spot to enjoy the countryside and to use as a base to explore the many secrets Kintyre has to offer.

The Kintyre peninsula is studded with small villages, pre-historic and Celtic archaeology, abundant wildlife, and remarkable beaches.
Campbeltown, affectionately known as ‘The Wee Toon’ is the main town on the Kintyre peninsula. It has something for all the family; three distilleries, a museum, heritage centre, swimming pool and one of the earliest surviving purpose-built cinemas in the UK, not
forgetting a tidal island that you can walk to, Davaar Island.

Kintyre is also a great base from which to explore some of Argyll's treasures. Isle of Gigha, Glenbarr, Carradale, Saddell Bay,

Torrisdale Castle, Southend.

The Mull of Kintyre has a vast array of beautiful beaches with breath-taking views to offer.

CARRADALE BAY

A very long section of beach known as one of the best in Kintyre. Spend a day
relaxing by the waves and soak in the breath-taking waterside views of Kintyre.

SADDELL BAY

A fantastic area ideal for swimming. Famous for being the place where Paul
McCartney’s music video, Mull of Kintyre, was shot.

MACHRIHANISH BEACH

A golden beach next to Machrihanish Golf Club. Over 3 miles of sand
perfect for walking or running.

WESTPORT BEACH

An ideal beach for long walks or surfing. Check out the historic castles, medieval
gravestones, and forts, or simply swim among some of the best waves in Kintyre.

BELLOCHANTUY BEACH

A rich location filled with wildlife, beautiful views, and rocky shores that are
great for hiking or climbing.

Campbeltown has a rich whisky heritage and was once known as the whisky capital of the
world. Today, just three working distilleries remain, but the future is looking brighter with
more on the horizon!

The iconic and world renowned Springbank Distillery is a must see, where regular tours let
you see this ‘working museum’ in all its glory. It is the only distillery in Scotland to carry out
100% of the whisky making process on site. Glengyle, the home of Kilkerran single malt
offers a more modern approach to whisky making and is located next door to Springbank.
Both distilleries are served by the Washback Bar which offers an array of whiskies from both distilleries.

Glen Scotia distillery also offers tours and the opportunity to buy its award winning whisky
from its distillery shop.

Cadenhead’s whisky shop along with Hall’s of Campbeltown have all your liquid essentials
whether it be Caribbean rum, gin or wine they have something for everyone. An alternative
to watching how whisky is made, Beinn An Tuirc sustainable distillers produce award winning
Kintyre Gin on the grounds of Torrisdale Castle Estate and is a must see.

Fantasic 2 night stay in Whitehill Nest!

Great location so close to town, Whitehill Nest is spacious with a cosy and comfortable feel. Our girls loved the bunkbeds! and of course the Hot Tub was a firm favourite.

Superhosts! Cant wait to return!
